Retrofit Delivery Knowledge Manager

December 2020

Energiesprong works as a market development team to drive ambitious retrofit solutions. People in our team support housing organisations get geared up to embrace a new vision, procure projects in a different way and bring projects from inception to completion. As we complete more projects, we need to standardise our approach to delivery and transfer knowledge and skills to a number of our partners’ delivery managers to help us scale up the approach.

 

> Your responsibilities:

 

1. Capture learning and best practice from the UK pilot projects delivered to date.

2. Assemble the learning and key delivery steps in a clear and logical way.

3. Work with new delivery managers to transfer knowledge and equip them to deliver successful projects.

4. Capture further learning and best practice; updating and improving the delivery model as we go.

Legal/Commercial Specialist 

December 2020

One of the challenges is the conventional ways that housing organisations contract with tenants and solution providers compromises innovation and other opportunities.  

 

We need someone who is able to understand Energiesprong’s possibilities, has the ability to convert that into contract language and then work with (and convince) housing providers’ and construction companies’ legal teams to implement new approaches.

 

We’re not necessarily looking for a full-on lawyer (although knowledge of contracting is important), but someone that can work with lawyers of both parties to improve the contracting structure and convince them to change the standard templates they work with today. What is important is to think creatively to develop more efficient commercial mechanisms as the market evolves.

 

> Your Responsibilities

1. Review legal and commercial progress on the Energiesprong projects to date:  building contracts, performance guarantees, comfort plan agreements and tenancy addendums

2. Map out an optimised set of agreements, schedules, processes and relationships that would maximise the benefits to stakeholders

3. Identify opportunities for new approaches

4. Actively engage in some of the most exciting retrofit projects in the UK and support implementation of new ideas and concepts

5. Seek out information around how the legal landscape is changing, for example, benefits changes that may affect how the comfort plan is collected, new regulation for communal heating, interaction with ‘Right to Buy’, freeholders and leaseholders.

Net Zero Product and Supply Chain Specialist

December 2020

You will need to:

1) Identify and engage providers of products and services needed for net zero housing

2) Support companies (innovators, established players, potential entrants from other markets etc.) to respond, innovate, invest and grow to meet the needs of the net zero housing market,

3) Think creatively to achieve supply chain growth

 

> Your Responsibilities

1. Identify net zero housing product development needs and opportunities

2. Engage providers, or potential providers, of net zero building products and services

3. Catalyse supply chain product development, production increase and cost reduction

4. Communicate market opportunities and needs to the supply chain through multiple channels

5. Identify and refer opportunities for lean process consultancy support

· Net zero building product and supply chain knowledge

· Proven ability to engage, identify challenges and support supply chain companies

· Construction and/or manufacturing sector expertise

· Product, service and process development and improvement expertise

Project Manager

December 2020

You will need to:

1. Support project delivery from beginning to end

2. Manage budgets, partners, people and timelines to ensure projects, large and small, deliver results

3. Be flexible and adaptable to deliver a wide range of project needs

 

> Your Responsibilities

1. Support colleagues by providing day to day project management leadership on a wide range of projects, small and large

2. Support housing organisations to deliver successful net zero housing projects

3. Transfer experience and know-how to develop internal housing organisations’ capability and expertise to deliver subsequent projects

4. Report project performance to partners, funders and stakeholders

Net Zero Technical Analyst

December 2020

You will need to:

1. Develop and implement performance monitoring solutions for housing retrofit projects

2. Provide technical analysis and insight to support projects and strategy development

3. Interpret and communicate performance results for a range of audiences

 

> Your Responsibilities

· Analysing the performance of net zero building projects

· Modelling the performance of different net zero building products and solutions

· Arranging and configuring monitoring of projects before and after retrofit

· Data collection, management, interpretation, communication and dissemination

· Develop project case studies for technical and non-technical audiences

· Performance reporting to partners and funders

· Participate in regular knowledge, training and dissemination events for project delivery staff, landlords, supply chain, funders and policy makers.
